Smoke Salmon Chowder

Creamy smoked salmon chowder is pure comfort food. This pacific northwest dish is made with potatoes, veggies, cream cheese, and of course all the flavors of smoked salmon.

Ingredients

– Olive Oil – Yellow Onion – Celery – Yukon Gold Potatoes – Butter – All Purpose Flour –  Vegetable or Seafood Stock – Half and Half – Crushed Tomatoes – Kosher Salt – Dried Basil, Parsley, Dried Dill, Smoked Paprika –Cream Cheese  – *8 oz Hot Smoked Salmon

In a large Dutch Oven over medium heat, sauté onions in olive oil.

Add in celery and cook 5 min. Add in potatoes.

Add in butter and melt. Then mix in flour and slowly pour in the milk and stock.

Add in crushed tomatoes and spices. Allow to simmer.

Add in softened cream cheese

Add in the chunks of smoked salmon.
