Peanut Sauce

Quick and easy homemade peanut sauce. Perfect for dipping, spreading, pasta sauce, or right on a salad. Made with few ingredients in just minutes, this sauce will elevate your dish.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ Cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 Lime freshly sqeezed About 1 table spoon
  • 2 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • ¼ Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Smashed and paper removed
  • ½ teaspoon Seasame Oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • ¼ Cup Water

Optional

  • 1 teaspoon Sambel Oelek Adds a little kick

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the ingredients into a food processor.
  • Mix until smooth and creamy. About 1 minute.
  • Test and add more water until your desired consistency.
  • Move to an air tight container and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Notes

~ Start off with a ¼ cup of water but then add more until you reach your desired consistency. If using for a wrap keep it a bit thicker. If using for a dipping sauce thin it out a little more. 
~ To give the sauce a little bit of a kick add in some sambel oelek. It is a red chili sauce that has great flavor. Siracha could even be used instead, but the simplicity of the sambel oelek adds a nice flavor.
~ For a sweeter taste add a little bit of honey.
