Homemade Clam Chowder

Homemade clam chowder made with fresh or canned clams. This hearty soup is full of veggies, potatoes, and a creamy stock.. Serve in a sourdough bread bowl topped with crispy bacon and oyster crackers.

Ingredients

– Bacon – Yellow Onion – Carrots – Celery – Yukon Gold Potatoes  – Garlic Cloves –  Dried Thyme & Rosemary – Salt & Pepper – All Purpose Flour – Butter – Half and Half – Vegetable Broth – Diced Clams

Dice and cook bacon until crispy

Saute onions in olive oil

Add carrots and celery

Add potatoes, garlic and melt the butter. Stir and coat everything well.

Add flour and spices, mix really well.

Slowly add milk and vegetable stock, stirring while pouring.

Add in diced clams.

Serve topped with bacon and oyster crackers
