How to Make Croutons

dirtanddough.com

Croutons are really simple to make and a great way to use up any leftover bread. Just dice up the bread, drizzle some olive oil, toss with seasoning and bake to perfection.

Tips for Making Croutons

1. Cut bread the same size. The size doesn't really matter just make sure they are uniform. 2. Flip half way through baking. This will help them bake more evenly.  3. Use olive oil to help the seasoning stick to the bread.

Ingredients

– Sourdough Bread  – Olive Oil – Italian Seasoning – Garlic Powder – Onion Powder – Fine Sea Salt

Dice Bread

Dice bread into uniform pieces. Size isn't too important but they need to be the same.

1

Olive Oil

Toss bread in olive oil. It should be lightly coated, not drenched.

2

Seasoning

Toss bread in seasoning so they are all evenly coated.

3

Bake

Place on a baking sheet or dish and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.
