Sourdough Discard Banana Bread

Cream together the butter and sugar

Step 1: 

Add in the sourdough starter and yogurt.

Step 2: 

Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract. Just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 3: 

Mash the bananas in a separate bowl with a fork or electric mixer.

Step 4: 

Fold mashed bananas into the wet ingredient mix.

Step 5: 

Whisk together the flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.

Step 6:

Fold the flour mix into the wet ingredients. Just until fully combine.

Step 7:

Dump into prepared baking pan.

Step 8:

With the spoon or spatula make sure the batter is evenly distributed across the pan.

Step 9:

Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until golden brown and when a toothpick is inserted into the middle comes out clean.  Rest in pan for 10 minutes.

Step 10:

Allow to cool, slice and serve with some butter.
