Growing Blueberries

This little delicious fruit is so easy to grow in your home garden. With some proper care and little maintenance, have an abundance of blueberries all summer long.

- Lowbush: 1-2 feet tall

Highbush North and South: 6-8 feet tall

- Half High: Cross between low and high bush.

- Rabbiteye: Tallest and typically found in the wild.

Multiple Types

Blueberries are not self fertile. Make sure to plant at least 2 types for proper pollination.

Blueberries need full sun. At least 6-8 hours.

Blueberries are acid loving plants and require a pH of 4.0-5.0.

Prune once they are 4-5 years old at the end of every winter.

Blueberries are ready when they fall off easily and are fully dark blue.
