    🫐Ingredients

Banana, frozen blueberries, peanut butter, oat milk and protein powder.

Frozen Blueberries and Banana: Preferably both of these should be frozen but if only one is, that is okay too. If neither are frozen, add in 1 cup of ice. It may not turn out as creamy, but will work in a pinch.

Milk: This version calls for oat milk but feel free to use your favorite dairy or plant based milk. Another great option would be almond milk.

Optional: Protein powder is a great add in for smoothies. Just use one scoop of vanilla protein powder.

    ❓Recipe FAQs

Do the Blueberries Need to be Frozen?

While they do not need to be frozen, it certainly makes it better. Using ice instead will water down the smoothie and it won't be as thick.

How to make a smoothie thicker?

A few ways to make a smoothie thicker is to use frozen bananas. This will lead to much thicker consistency than non frozen. You can also use protein powder, peanut butter, and sometimes yogurt.
