Fall is all about two things for me. Soups and bread. There is nothing like a hot pot of soup and a fresh loaf of sourdough bread. It is also the season for fresh Pacific Northwest seafood. We wait all summer for some razor clam chowder, beef and black bean chili, or a comforting hot toddy with tea and bourbon.
Below is a collection of some fall-inspired recipes.
Sourdough Baking
With shorter days and colder temps, you are probably finding yourself indoors. Take this time to learn how to make and bake with a sourdough starter. Cookies, focaccia, bagels, bread and so much more!

Soups, Chowder and Chili
There is nothing better in the fall than a homemade pot of soup, stew or a chili. Complete the meal with some fresh homemade sourdough bread.

Fall Seafood Recipes
One thing I love about fall is all the fresh seafood in the Pacific Northwest! Salmon are running, clamming is opening up, and time to catch fresh Dungeness crab.
