This blueberry smoothie bowl is the perfect way to start your day. A creamy blueberry banana smoothie topped with granola, coconut, pumpkin seeds and banana slices. It's a hearty bowl packed with nutrients.
I love a good smoothie to start my day but what is even better is when you can take it up a notch and turn it into a complete meal.
Sometimes smoothies are just lacking texture and substance. That's why a smoothie bowl is a great way to add even more to that morning drink.
If you love a good smoothie here are some of my favorite combinations:
- Beet and Blueberry Smoothie
- Strawberry Rhubarb Smoothie
- Mango Pineapple Smoothie
- Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Ingredients
The base of this smoothie bowl is going to be my blueberry and banana smoothie. It's a thick and creamy smoothie that holds up well to all the add ins. Get the recipe.
Once you make your smoothie, all kinds of things can be added on top.
Granola: I really like to use a granola that has dried blueberries, pumpkin seeds or other things already in it. If you use a plain granola, consider also adding in some seeds.
Sliced Banana: Since there is already banana in the smoothie, this is optional. However, fresh slices covered in this smoothie is a great combination.
Honey: If you want to add some sweetness to this bowl, consider drizzling some honey on top.
Get creative with this and add different toppings. Share in the comments below if you found something that worked great.
